We build drafting technology that's transforming the way the world contracts - our platform helps legal teams move faster through contracts using automation and AI, without taking judgement away from the lawyers in control. We believe technology should amplify expertise, not replace it.
Avvoka is trusted by over 20% of the AmLaw 100 law firms, global banks and enterprises, and we've grown largely through product strength. With headcount and revenue contuining to scale rapidly year on year, we're now moving from a product-led path into a globally recognised legal-tech brand.
We're at an inflection point: evolving how the world's most sophisticated legal teams work — and building a company where thoughtful people can do the best work of their careers.
You’ll be a key part of how Avvoka looks and feels - shaping interfaces that help people draft and execute complex legal documents with confidence, speed, and control. This role is ideal if you love strong UI craft, care about systems thinking, and want your work to land directly in a high-impact product used by leading legal teams.
You’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving group (Product, Engineering, Customer Success) who care deeply about quality and clarity. You’ll have real ownership: you’ll take problems from “this is confusing” to “this is effortless,” and you’ll see the results quickly in customer adoption and feedback.
And because Avvoka is building at the intersection of automation, collaboration, and AI, you’ll get the space to explore how AI can improve UX — not as a gimmick, but as a practical tool that helps experts stay in control while moving faster.

Be AI-curious in a practical way
Explore AI-assisted workflows (e.g., faster prototyping, content exploration, UI alternatives) responsibly.
Partner with Product/Engineering to shape AI experiences that keep users in control.
Bring ideas, experiments, and learning back to the team to improve how we design.
To ensure your application has the best opportunity of success, your CV could cover the below measures of success with quantifiable results (e.g. percentages, growth, reductions, impact)
Portfolio overview, showing compelling, modern designs that have had real use impact.
Improved a key workflow’s completion rate or reduced time-on-task by X% through UI redesign and iteration.
Increased design-to-dev throughput (e.g., fewer UI bugs/rework, faster feature delivery) by X% through Figma/system improvements.
Shipped N high-quality UI improvements/features end-to-end, validated via feedback, usability findings, or product metrics.
The ideal candidate would have:
Strong UI craft, with a portfolio that shows clean visual design and clear decision-making.
High proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, libraries, prototyping, design systems).
Comfort collaborating cross-functionally — you communicate clearly, take feedback well, and move work forward.
• Good judgement: you balance speed with quality, and you know when to go deep vs. keep it simple.
An AI-curious mindset — you’re interested in how AI can improve product experiences and your own workflow.
Bonus points if:
You’ve worked on complex B2B products (dense data, permissions, multi-step workflows).
You’ve contributed to accessibility improvements or formalised UI guidelines.
You can prototype interactions beyond static screens (micro-interactions, motion principles, prototypes).
You have experience in legal tech, document tools, or collaboration platforms.
In addition to the technical and professional skills, there are certain core attributes we value across all roles:
Adaptability in dynamically evolving settings
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with ownership
A collaborative spirit, supporting and mentoring others
