We’re Avvoka

We building drafting technology that's transforming the way the world contracts - our platform helps legal teams move faster through contracts using automation and AI, without taking judgement away from the lawyers in control. We believe technology should amplify expertise, not replace it.

Avvoka is trusted by over 20% of the AmLaw 100 law firms, global banks and enterprises, and we've grown largely through product strength. With headcount and revenue contuining to scale rapidly year on year, we're now moving from a product-led path into a globally recognised legal-tech brand.

We're at an inflection point: evolving how the world's most sophisticated legal teams work — and building a company where thoughtful people can do the best work of their careers.

Why join us

You’ll own hiring that directly shapes Avvoka’s next stage of growth — partnering with leaders across the business to bring in the people who will define our product, commercial traction, and customer experience. This role gives you meaningful autonomy: you’ll run end-to-end hiring, influence how we evaluate talent, and build repeatable, high-signal processes that scale with us.

You’ll join a team that cares about craft and outcomes: tight feedback loops, clear hiring decisions, and a candidate experience that reflects Avvoka’s values. You’ll have space to improve how we do recruitment (not just “fill roles”), and you’ll work closely with stakeholders who want a trusted partner, not a CV service.

At the company level, we’re building a globally recognised legal-tech brand at a moment where the market is moving fast — AI is changing expectations, and sophisticated legal teams are demanding better tooling. That means your impact is visible: better hiring = better product and faster growth.

What you’ll do

Run end-to-end hiring with pace and quality

  • Own the full hiring lifecycle for priority roles (brief → pipeline → interviews → offer → close).

  • Build role-specific sourcing strategies across inbound/outbound channels, with a focus on quality and diversity of pipelines.

  • Keep hiring managers aligned through clear scorecards, structured feedback, and decisive debriefs.

Partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor

  • Challenge and refine role briefs, leveling, and evaluation criteria to improve signal and reduce time-to-hire.

  • Coach stakeholders on best-practice interviewing, inclusive hiring, and candidate experience.

  • Provide market insights (talent availability, compensation positioning, competing offers) to shape hiring plans.

Improve our hiring engine

  • Strengthen our processes: interview loops, ATS hygiene, templates, scheduling flows, and decision-making cadence.

  • Track funnel performance and drive improvements using data (conversion, drop-off, offer acceptance, time-to-hire).

  • Raise the bar for candidate experience — fast, transparent, and human from first touch to onboarding.

Build Avvoka’s employer brand in the market

  • Tell a consistent, compelling story about Avvoka across outreach, job ads, and candidate conversations.

  • Create lightweight content and hiring collateral that helps candidates understand mission, team, and impact.

  • Represent Avvoka professionally with agencies and communities when needed (while keeping direct hiring at the core).

What success looks like

To ensure your application has the best opportunity of success, your CV could cover the below measures of success with quantifiable results (e.g. percentages, growth, reductions, impact)

  • Reduced time-to-hire and/or improved funnel conversion (e.g., screen→onsite, onsite→offer) while maintaining quality.

  • Delivered X priority hires end-to-end in a 6-month window, including tricky searches (scarce skillsets, tight timelines, competitive offers).

  • Improved offer acceptance rate and candidate experience (e.g., higher acceptance %, lower drop-off, faster decision cycles).

What you’ll bring

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Proven experience as an in-house recruiter / talent partner running end-to-end hiring (midweight level).

  • Strong sourcing capability (LinkedIn Recruiter, proactive outreach, pipeline management) with evidence of filling roles through direct hiring.

  • Confidence partnering with stakeholders — you can influence, challenge constructively, and keep decisions moving.

  • A structured approach to hiring: scorecards, debrief discipline, and clean process execution.

  • Clear written and verbal communication, with a candidate-first mindset.

Bonus points if:

  • You’ve hired in a B2B SaaS / scale-up environment (or adjacent: fintech, legal-tech, enterprise software).

  • You’ve recruited across both technical and non-technical roles.

  • You’ve improved hiring processes/metrics (not just operated within them).

Core attributes we value across all roles:

  • Adaptability in dynamically evolving settings

  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with ownership

  • A collaborative spirit, supporting and mentoring others

💡 If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway — you might be just the candidate we’re looking for.
