We’re looking for a Graduate Software Developer – Document Automation Specialist who will use the Avvoka tool to turn flat Word precedents into automated legal templates. You’ll play a key role in building, quality-assuring, and refining automated templates for our clients, ensuring they function seamlessly and meet business requirements.
This role is perfect for graduates with a software development, computer science, or related background who want to apply coding fundamentals in a practical, client-facing environment. You’ll gain experience in workflow logic, structured data handling, and document automation, while collaborating directly with clients and cross-functional teams to transform complex contracts into structured, dynamic templates.

Template Creation & Automation
Develop automated document templates using Avvoka's no code document automation platform, applying independent judgement to interpret instructions and briefings rather than working from fully specified requirements.
Implement conditional logic, variable fields, and structured workflows to ensure documents are created reliably and efficiently.
Work with Solutions Consultants and Account Executives (AEs) in the Growth team to turn prospect templates into bespoke, automated Avvoka templates.
Build stock templates for demo purposes, used as sample templates during prospect and client conversations.
Reviewing & Refining Templates
Conduct quality checks to ensure templates generate correctly under various conditions.
Troubleshoot formatting, logic, or templating errors and refine as needed.
Ensure templates are structured for scalability, ease of use, and future adaptability.
Requirement Interpretation
Provide recommendations on how to best structure contracts for automation.
Handling Template Adjustments & Customizations
Modify and enhance existing client templates based on feedback and evolving business requirements.
Implement data integrations and dynamic fields where required to support contract generation.
Maintain consistency across multiple templates to align with client branding and formatting standards.

The ideal candidate would have:
A degree in software development, computer science, or a related field.
Strong coding fundamentals and logical problem-solving skills.

You have experience with workflow automation, scripting, or low-code/no-code platforms.
You have prior exposure to document or contract automation.
