  • Work with our team to receive automation opportunities and briefings and translate structured instructions into functional, automated templates.

2. Reviewing & Refining Templates

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure templates generate correctly under various conditions.
  • Troubleshoot formatting, logic, or templating errors and refine as needed.
  • Ensure templates are structured for scalability, ease of use, and future adaptability.

3. Client Collaboration & Requirement Gathering

  • Engage directly with clients to understand their document automation needs and challenges.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure templates align with best practices.
  • Provide recommendations on how to best structure contracts for automation.

4. Handling Template Adjustments & Customizations

  • Modify and enhance existing client templates based on feedback and evolving business requirements.
  • Implement data integrations and dynamic fields where required to support contract generation.
  • Maintain consistency across multiple templates to align with client branding and formatting standards.

5. Ensuring Compliance & Accuracy in Templating

  • Ensure templates adhere to legal and regulatory standards, avoiding errors in automation logic.
  • Validate that templates reflect the correct clauses, structures, and conditional workflows.
  • Support template migrations and updates when clients update their contract structures.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong logical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word styling, numbering, and formatting.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with our internal Customer Success, Product and Dev teams.
  • Bonus: Experience in document automation, legal technology, or contract templating.

It would be desirable that the candidate has:

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools or low-code automation platforms.
  • Understanding of conditional logic, data mapping, and API integrations.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or SQL) for advanced automation.
