About Us

Avvoka is a fast-growing legal technology scale-up specializing in document automation. Our platform helps law firms and in-house teams draft, negotiate, and manage contracts more efficiently. We’re trusted by leading global brands — from Magic Circle law firms like AO Shearman to global franchises like HBO. — and have supported everything from billion-dollar transactions to international franchise deals.

We’re growing quickly, evolving from a bootstrapped start-up to scale-up, with 60% growth in headcount and over 70% organic revenue growth in the past year - so come join us on building a culture that’s innovative, collaborative, and inclusive.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a driven Account Executive who is ready to make the leap into technology sales - particularly enterprise SaaS. This role is ideal for someone coming from a regulated industry (e.g. legal, financial services, consulting, healthcare, insurance) where you've sold complex, high-stakes solutions or services to sophisticated clients. You’re now looking to apply that expertise to a fast-growing, tech-forward company.

You might not come from a legaltech SaaS background - and that’s okay. What matters most is that you’re a natural communicator, problem solver, and trusted advisor who can confidently lead B2B sales conversations with senior stakeholders, especially in professional services or regulated settings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition & Qualification

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the document automation and broader legal tech space

  • Build rapport with prospects in law firms and legal departments, understanding their goals and pain points

  • Create and present tailored solutions that resonate with risk-aware, regulated buyers

2. Sales Strategy Execution

  • Lead the full sales cycle – from initial outreach through product demo, commercial negotiation, and close

  • Address both technical and non-technical objections with clarity and confidence

  • Feed insights back to marketing and product teams to refine our go-to-market messaging and roadmap

3. Account Management & Expansion

  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, helping them extract maximum value from the platform

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, supported by a deep understanding of client needs

4. Market Engagement

  • Stay informed on legaltech trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor activity

  • Represent Avvoka at industry events and client-facing forums, building both your and our brand.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate could have:

  • Some experience in a complex B2B sales or advisory role – ideally in a regulated industry (e.g. legal, finance, consulting)

  • Proven success selling or advising on high-value services or platforms to discerning clients (e.g. partners, GCs, CIOs)

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain abstract or technical concepts simply

  • A consultative sales mindset

  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, startup-style environment

The desirable candidate could have:

  • Experience selling SaaS, legaltech, or working at the intersection of technology and law

  • Background in law, finance, or professional services (e.g. ex-lawyer, ex-consultant, ex-financial advisor)

  • Familiarity with the sales process from lead generation through to close in an enterprise context

In addition to the technical and professional skills, there are certain core attributes we value across all roles:

  • Adaptability in dynamically evolving settings

  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with ownership

  • A collaborative spirit, supporting and mentoring others

💡 If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway — you might be just the candidate we’re looking for.

  • After work socials on the last Thursday of every month

  • Summer Fridays – Every other Friday in July and August, you can finish work early at 2:30 PM

  • Regular team socials such as the Summer and Winter Work Parties
