Who You Are

We are seeking a driven Account Executive who thrives in the legal technology landscape and has a proven track record in SaaS sales or a similar field. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in negotiating and closing deals, particularly in B2B SaaS sales, and who understands the intricacies of legal tech. Your focus will be on working closely with prospects and clients to bring them value-driven solutions and drive significant revenue growth, particularly within the legal sector. You would be comfortable closing deal sizes averaging between £60k–£130k in sales cycles spanning 6-9 months, focused on driving success in the middle and end of the sales funnel.

You are a passionate, goal-oriented sales professional with experience in high-value deal negotiations, and you are comfortable handling the complexities of sales cycles that span several months. You will excel in a fast-paced, startup environment, contributing to the continued success of Avvoka. This is a collaborative role, where you’ll engage with key decision-makers at law firms and other legal organizations to negotiate and close high-value deals.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Execution & Deal Closing

  • Drive the negotiation process and close complex, high-value deals with law firms and legal teams, typically ranging from £60k to £130k in value.
  • Lead the mid to end of the sales cycle, from client collaboration overcoming objections, negotiating terms, and closing contracts.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to craft and refine sales strategies that align with Avvoka's ambitious revenue growth targets.


Account Management & Client Relationships

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new business clients
  • Work with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth handoffs, onboarding, and continued client success.
  • Engage with key clients to ensure they maximize value from Avvoka’s platform, focusing on contract negotiation and ensuring ongoing value.


Revenue Generation

  • Focus on driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and the closing of mid-to-high-value deals, with a special emphasis on law firms as the primary market.
  • Stay ahead of legal tech trends and competitor activities, using this insight to close deals and drive growth.


Market & Industry Expertise

  • Stay up to date on trends and shifts in the legal tech landscape, particularly in the US, to identify new opportunities for closing deals.
  • Attend and represent Avvoka at key industry events, webinars, and conferences to increase brand awareness and strengthen market position.


Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably with exposure to legal tech or similar verticals (legaltech, fintech, regtech, etc.).
  • A proven ability to close complex deals in the £60k–£130k range, with experience in navigating long sales cycles (6-9 months).
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of driving deals to successful closure with high value stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities to understand client needs and offer customized solutions that drive growth.
